Shufflewing*

I had to post this funny little dunnock. I heard it cheeping incessantly yesterday. It just sat on the wire and let me snap away. It's not a fledgling as it hasn't got a yellow gape but could be a juvenile. When we went for our walk this morning there it was cheeping away on the wire again. :)

I've added my first gatekeeper butterfly of 2020, a pink meadow grasshopper and a female brimstone butterfly on a teasel flower.

*One of the bird's nicknames. They constantly flick their wings.
