Contorted Limbs

I seemed to be drawn to twisted branches this evening. They were caught in sunlight against a dark background and pea green algae on the water. The water level is elevated after last nights storm, which dropped 3" all told, leaving everywhere sodden.

It's rather a graphic image with a lot of negative space. Looking at it now I wonder whether it would be better shot lower down with more of the dark foliage as a backdrop. Food for thought.
