MTB Ride- Friendly Tumble
Upped my distance to 16 miles, from 10. Range and power good, but still struggling to feed the engine with enough air. Pic is on a footpath dropping down to the Trent path. Boats a plenty today.
People seemed extra friendly on the way round today, with the odd chat and made a new Strava buddy, who was heading back to Notttingham along the Trent. Approx 18 miles along paths across fields on a gravel rather than mountain bike.. rather bumby,in places so an even more excellent effort by him.Had a brief chat with a new youngish couple from my village, having a drink, trentside at a pub.
Managed to get caught up in a mesh fence on a flat tarmac footpath and managed to flip myself off at an odd angle, through lack of paying attention - felt good physically, but mental energy was probably low.
Result - Large swollen bruise just above right hip. and can support but barely move my left arm and poor sleep due to pain.
Extra is the Strava buddy - note no suspension, as a gravel bike.
