Monday melancholia
Got up feeling out of sorts and knew that my best bet was a fast paced march through our nearby country park for a dose of nourishing greenery . It worked !
Took the picture for one of my lovely nieces who I suspected would be feeling the same to encourage her to fit a walk in as we both know how much it helps dispel a low mood .
Spent most of the morning trying to convince my hotmail account that it could open on our “shared laptop “
Oh my goodness what a lot of faffing , new passwords , new phone numbers and even a new email account to receive an email with a code to change the password .
It has now been accomplished!
Put the vacuum cleaner back together after washing the filters yesterday and what a difference , very satisfying indeed. Will be repeating regularly.
More sorting of papers and discovered that Dave’s mum
had lived in Leicester , my home town, during her wartime training with the ATS .
We have more jobs to do before the house is handed over including booking a slot at the tip , which I only mention for its historical value as it is a sign of these Covid times .
I heard on the radio that llamas have produced antibodies that protect against reinfection of the Corona virus and because the form of these antibodies are so simple it should be straightforward to manipulate them into protecting humans from Covid 19 , watch this space .
Wishing you all a week full of good cheer !
