Happy Morons

(To explain the title - we were playing “would you rather” and one of the questions was - would you rather be a miserable genius or a happy moron? - the consensus was the latter, though there were some points made in favour of the first...).

We walked along the high peak trail to Minninglow Hill - which has a Neolithic chambered tomb, and two Bronze Age bowl barrows at the top of it.

To get from the main path to the hill we had to make our way over a couple of fields with cows - one of which had a sign warning about the bull... after spotting him lying down we proceeded to cross it on the opposite side! (Having had a conversation about Bill Bryson’s stats on the number of walker’s deaths caused by cows in England each year!). An extra of one of them... was almost my main blip but couldn’t believe I’d want to post a picture of a cow as my main photo of the day when I have so many of beautiful family...
