The Avian Asterisk Applies!

I fully intended to join in the Tiny Tuesday challenge today, until I heard a tapping nearby as I was walking on the hike and bike trail.  I have tried to follow the sounds of birds in the trees before with little success,  but for some reason, I had some success today .  I believe that this may be a Ladderback or a Downy Woodpecker.  Not the perfect shot, but I felt blessed to get even a decent shot through the tree branches!  And, did I mention that he moves very fast?  So, I have expanded my Hawk Asterisk to the Heron Rule to include other birds, as I see fit so that it shall now be known as the Avian Asterisk.....
