Oh dear

This wasp’s nest is right above the front door.

How could we have not seen it before now?

As natural history enthusiasts we try not to interfere with the living quarters of wild creatures.

But this is going to have to go and I have phoned the local specialist.

They do make attractive looking nests however. All with wood particles which they eat from trees mixed with saliva.

In extras there is a very strange creature which I met on my walk this morning.
