The challenge.

Some hobbies can have their tricky moments.

Potting on this cactus is certainly one of them. This is Echinocactus grusonii.
Given the right conditions it can grow up to 1 metre across and 2 metres tall. It 
can weigh several hundred pounds.
It is not going to do that in a greenhouse in Arnside.

But assuming I can meet the challenge of getting it into a new pot it will continue
to grow happily for years to come. But I won’t be here to see it flower about 20 years
From now.
