Enjoyed....

a lovely walk over to this lochan in sun and warmth early morning. Encountered a family of six Ravens  and their presence was disturbing a family of Redstarts, so there was quite a noise of cronks and twitters.
There were Greylags, Goldeneye and Little Grebe on the lochan
Ringlets, Small Heath and Common Blue butterflies were in evidence. The big beautiful Scottish Thistles are just flowering, so had to put this blue on one as an extra.
Later, had another short walk just to marvel at the flora behind the house, Eyebright, Red Clover, Birds Foot Trefoil, Yellow Rattle and much more, delightful!
