Abstract Thursday...An Osprey Dinner

I think that the osprey has become my 2nd favorite Florida bird, right behind the pelican...for three different reasons.

1. I like to watch them hover and strike their prey in the water.
2. It may be a little gruesome, but I like to see them tear apart their catch. Very workman-like.
3. They are good-to-very-good posers.

This piece measures 16x20 inches, and I do like it, although the trout looks a little too happy about his capture.
