Caminology

Some weeks ago I learnt a new word courtesy of DigitalDave - ‘caminology’. It is the study of chimneys, chimney pots and stacks!

These two wonderful stacks are on a cottage in Clifford - the next village. I like the contrast of the white brickwork with the stone building material. Having made some initial observations around the villages (I can hear your eyes rolling - stop it) I can say that these stacks are unusual in that the pots on each stack match (apart from the ugly flue insert spoking out of two of them). You are in for treat of chimneys…. :-))

Lots more walking for me today - I went to collect another prescription from the vet for Finlay, walking there and back (plus a bit extra through a wood). It took me two hours!
