Oops!
I have often blipped water cascading over the causeway to Friarton Island. We were crossing Queens Bridge when we heard a loud rattle from a tractor crossing the causeway. It had got stuck. It's not the first vehicle to come to grief; once the tide covers the causeway it must be hard to see the edge.
As we turned for home over the footbridge we saw another tractor on the island coming to the aid of the stuck one, so I hope they got it out. I think it was only an hour or so to high tide.
