Another fine mess

Walking Kinnoull Hill every day, we see things change day by day. This pile of horse dung was dropped a couple of days before, and is now showing a fine fur of fungus. Mrs P looks to be considering it as a subject for photography.

I wonder if horse riders should come back and clear up? Fortunately it seems to dry up and disappear by itself eventually.
