The Arrival of the Hollyhock Fairy

Sometime yesterday afternoon a hollyhock fairy looking remarkably like my friend Elaine left a wonderful selection of holyhocks cut from her allotment on the doorsteps of Clare, Gill and me. I only have dark red ones in my garden and would love to grow some of these colours. I must look up if they self seed easily.

Today was my weekly shopping trip, postponed from my usual Thurs trip. From tomorrow we will all have to wear masks in all shops. I don't go to many shops but still dont fancy wearing them. But I am very law abiding and will follow the advice.
