Runner beans growing well

Picked the first runner beans today at the allotment and they are growing well.
Also picked courgettes and little green beans. Also picked some marigolds to bring home.
Potatoes looking very sad I don’t think it will be a good crop.
Also the autumn raspberries are wilting after two hot days so not helpful for a good crop. Last year we had virtually none as it was so hot and dry.

- cycled to Wimbledon with a friend and had a coffee in Wimbledon Village. Very different to how it would be usually at this time of year with Wimbledon tennis displays in shop windows and lots of purple and green flowers and flags.
- booked a lovely holiday house in Dungeness for April 2021! We have stayed there before and got an email about booking again today.
