Octopussy

Today has been a beach day, although we didn’t leave until nearly lunch time as Scarlett had school work to do, so I got the picnic ready and sorted the beach stuff out so we were ready to go once she’d finished.

I was looking forward to taking them to see the tunnel mural, and they loved it, so we have various poses, but this one was my favourite. We went for a walk along the Undercliff so the girls could go on their scooters, with the beach planned for afterwards with a picnic on the beach. But as soon as the girls saw the beach, that was all they wanted to do, so we we only went a short distance and the. turned round.

The beach was surprisingly quiet and we got a spec on a sandy bit, which you don’t see often! After lunch we went in the sea, it felt cold to start with, but once in, it was really nice - Rach would disagree though! We spent the majority of the afternoon there, but headed home just before 4pm as I had an appointment at the vets for the boys health check/boosters. As Scarlett has more school work to do, I took Violet with me so Rach could concentrate.

Once home I went in the hot tub with the girls, however it wasn’t very relaxing as they kept throwing themselves around in the water - I think it’s going to need refilling lol!

Then tonight, we’ve had a takeaway Indian and drink in the Palace.
