Lavender Feast

I managed to get a ticket to the National Trust’s Standen House today, ideal for a slight detour on the way to visit Mum for a couple of days.  A lavender bed, next to the Arts&Crafts house designed by Phillip Webb with William Morris interiors,  was proving a magnet for the bees and butterflies.
