Today we managed another socially distanced meet up with Nat and co . They are heading off tomorrow so who knows when the next meet up might be .
We left drizzle and swapped it for dry weather with the gradual appearance of blue skies and the sun , so much more cheerful .
Walked 8 km along both the coast and Lancaster canal , in a wide circle so feel much more acquainted with this corner of Lancashire . Were surprised at how clear and clean the water in the canal was , very different to what we are used to . The finest moment was when a family of Swans , including 4 cygnets glided royally by . My phone was packed away by then, otherwise it would probably have become today’s Blip .
We feel so grateful that Katie's Mum was happy for Nat to stay with her , alongside Katie, as it’s made the meet ups possible . It’s also nice getting to know her better and being able to hang out .
Happy Saturday !
