Met my mum to walk along this beautiful path this morning. I have vaguely been intended to go here for about 5 years, it was so wonderful, obvs I am an idiot for not going sooner. Rosie had a splendid time in and out of the river. It’s a 37 mile walk all the way to Guildford. The lady who wrote the book I have about it says it’s an easy 3 day walk, as we did half of one of the six sections, that would seem unlikely.

And then we went to the handily placed pub for well deserved drinks and crisps. First pub for many months, it was just fine (although essentially empty to hard to see how it wouldn’t be fine)

Before that a swim first thing. Turns out the 8:30am sea is not as warm as the 5pm sea. Was nicely flat and just gorgeous though.
