First Fig

This is the second year that my fig tree produced fruit, but last year the birds got them all before I did! The fruits are so precious at this stage as only 4 were produced. This time I wrapped each fruit loosely in a soft net so they were protected. Except for the one I missed and the birds sure enjoyed that one!
I was just about to cut this up and add some of my homemade Kefir for a delicious breakfast - the tartness of the Kefir hopefully balancing out the sweetness of the fig. But then I thought I would post it here first.
