View from Shaldon, Devon
We set off early this morning to drive to Ashburton to see Stan and give him his washing back .
We all had brunch at Taylor’s Cafe which is definitely becoming a regular haunt .
After we left him, we drove towards Teignmouth which I gave memories of as a child . We were surprised how busy and urban it was round Newton Abbot . We crossed the estuary and explored Shaldon which had some quaint streets and interesting buildings in a range of architecture. It was all very busy but I liked this view towards Teignmouth from the beach at Shaldon .
The Devonian rocks are amazing down there ( see extra ) .It was nice to see the ferry which crosses over to Teignmouth too - everyone had to wear a mask onboard .
