Here Comes The Sun.....

Yay.... something to celebrate at the end of my early morning walk....Here comes the sun, lighting up and turning the environs golden. Quite magical after a string of dull grey days.
Although there was very little rain here in Blenheim yesterday there must have been heavy downpours to the south east in the hills of the Taylor River Catchment. There is a lot more water in the river and it is running fast. The river had broken through the culvert area of the Omaka Ford which meant Maisie and I had to take a detour this morning. It was lovely to have a clear blue skies with a few puffs of clouds and sunshine.
