A Break in The Clouds....

There was a downpour of heavy rain very early this morning. Undaunted, Maisie and I still took our early morning walk. I was dressed in my old “storm raincoat” and insulated boots called “Boonies”...and my purple umbrella. Maisie wore flashing green lights attached to her collar. We survived.
Later in the morning I met up with my old joggers group for coffee at the Raupo Cafe beside the Taylor River. I have pictured the view from Raupo..as the rain clouds were clearing.
Daughter Margaret and Granddaughter Emily arrived by ferry this afternoon. It’s great to have them visiting.
