Day 119 Fruit of the vine

The weather conditions seem to have suited our grape vine  this year as the grapes are growing really well and are already further on than usual for July.  We did have the promised rain last night and today was cloudy until late afternoon, so I just popped out quickly for a shot for today's blip.  The hibiscus and crocosmia are now flowering but they can wait until another day.  The wretched leg wound bled during the night which meant that I had to launder the sheet, mattress protector and new white duvet cover (!) so it was fortunate that the weather was good enough to line dry them.  This evening we had a takeaway from the local Indian restaurant, doing our bit to support local businesses.  Today marks the end of 17 weeks of this strange new life.
