Day 120 A thank you gift

Last week I was surprised when our lovely decorator J called by: he is doing some exterior decorating for our neighbour whose house and garden in the next street are at the end of our garden.  He needed scaffolding to reach the upper windows and assured us that he'd be supervising the scaffolders to ensure that none of our shrubs were damaged by the poles that would need to be in our garden.  The said scaffolding went up yesterday with no trouble and today our neighbour came round with a bunch of thank you flowers and a bottle of wine. 
Here you see the beautiful flowers hastily snapped this evening.  I do especially love the blue of the agapanthus and wish that I could be successful in growing them.
The other excitement of the day was that I Went Out Shopping!  Not supermarket shopping but non essential store shopping!  I went with both daughters and Violet to the local small shopping centre we where went to three stores, including a toy shop and none of us came home empty handed, all fairly essential stuff in our eyes!
