Common Red Soldier Beetle

Rhagonycha fulva.

These are fairly common and congregate on the flowers of umbellifers, especially on Hogweed.


In extras:
Little Egret
Little Egret chatting to Black Headed Gull

And in the garden Fairie’s bonnets round the base of the Laburnum tree.
