Barbados Cherry..... Bouncing Back.
On May 9, this tree was strongly trimmed and cut back. There was a heavy branch cut off. Since then I fertilized and left the tree to come cack.
Todays blip is the same tree, leafed out and recovering nicely It has grown out 4 internodes of new leaves, beginning to stretch out and lengthen the distance between leaves. If i were at the twigging phase, I would be be shortening the distance, looking fro smaller leaves and closer together. The tree has even decided to flower, which requires a lot of strength present so it can reproduce itself. The tree is doing very well, healthy and strong.....
I took Silver out for a terrific ride today. I am getting stronger. We rode in high humidity and 93 degree temperatures,.. 21 miles. It was awesome!
