Mowing After The Rain.....

I was able to get out for a bike ride this morning.  All of the crews were already out with the mowing machines.    I came across one of the the water retention ponds that had dried up.  I could smell the new mown grass in the air...........  It had a sweet smell with earthen dirt.
       The Thumbnail shows the John Deere Tractor and gang mowers going up the sides of the pond bank.  the opposite picture is of the tractor mowing the crown of the pond.    It makes the John Deere look very small, compared to the pond area.
Everything is so green from the rain and the warmth.
    The weather report is hopeful for another cool morning tomorrow, for a bike ride.
