Black & White: The Pier through Passacaglia
I took this photo this morning when the clouds looked absolutely amazing. This is a photo that I have taken before but it's the first time in B&W. The structure was designed by Charles Hadcock and is called Passacaglia. It stands over 5 meters tall and evokes the power of the ocean and emphasizes the expanse of the horizon. Emerging as a huge wave out of the seafront, or the remains of an old shipwreck, it focuses on the dramatic contrast between the two piers and vast, limitless, sea.
