I know there are people out there that a) don't like these ,b) are allergic to them , but for me I just love them . Just one thing to be aware off when the pollen falls it strains so I cut the stamens out when they open to avoid this.
My neighbour enlightened me last night I have a wasp nest in my hedge it was near her drive / pavement it had worried me all night ,hence me having very little sleep . On phoning to get it removed I was soo shocked at the quotations ( £101 plus vat) . If it wasn't for the danger of being stung you could just lift it out it was so obvious. However I investigated several other places and on speaking to a friend in Somerset I've decided to leave it alone as apparently in the winter they will die , as long as they are left alone they're OK. Phew ! Relief it's others I'm worried about , tho' I'm very allergic to wasp stings.
Result today had been pretty uneventful . Did some washing, went shopping then to a favourite hid- out and read for an hour , now home and had a bite to eat ( eating hasn't been a priority today?)
I'm very tired so won't be late retiring tonight. Hope you've all had a good and safe day.
