Fuschia Bush

Our fuchsia bush has not as yet had masses of blooms on it though it very often seems come into full bloom much later in the summer. This was taken with a macro lens with a flashgun with a very cheap blow-up diffuser on it. This technique really comes into its own when you are photographing very small macro subjects like insects, bees and the like but I have yet to try this out on this type of subject. I left it far too late in the day to capture any insect action.
