Swan Family

After a break of almost a month the swan family seem to have returned to Seafield Pond. I am not quite sure where they went meantime though my wife did see them on the river, Bielwater  about a month ago. Maybe they found somewhere safe to stay further down stream.further downstream. Usually the adult swans do not take them on the river until they are nearly ready to fly off and find independence but they are not nearly ready for this yet. Fortunately all eight cygnets seem to have survived which is the largest family I have seen over the last twelve years.
