Doll house
A few years ago I spent endless hours picking out a doll house for our eldest daughter. It went unused for several years. It was funny for me to think about large amount of thought that went into the purchase vs. the little amount of playtime it got. I eventually gave it to a friend's daughters, where it apparently gets much use.
I spent much less time picking this little house out, but apparently put it in a dream location, nestled into a safe corner with a sheep skin to kneel on. Bingo. The house is in constant use. There is an endless array of configurations of figures and furniture.
Most of the time, especially when R has been playing with it, every single being is tucked in for bed. For a child who grappled with sleep issues for three quarters of her little life, we find this most interesting.
