Spend, save, give

My oldest daughter receives a weekly allowance and this bank allows her to divide it immediately into three parts. She has enjoyed having some freedom with the "spend" compartment, has finally come to understand how the "give" compartment can be used, and adores watching her "save" compartment grow. As soon as her save compartment reaches $5, we take her to deposit it into her bank account. She enjoys the trip, interacting with the bank teller, collecting her receipt... and the inevitable lollipop that gets handed to her as well.
