Bowens

It used to be said that most of the shops in Alcester were owned by three families. This is one of the last still going. It’s a wonderful old fashioned emporium of household goods towels rugs flooring etc. Here young Mr Bowen is showing me some tea towels. Old Mr Bowen died many years ago.
He has some rather beautiful Indian woollen Kilims in there , which I would like to find an excuse to buy.

Needless to say they don’t do contactless payments.
