Old Lodge NR

Mr U&L had an appointment at East Grinstead hospital today, so while he was there I went for a nice walk at Old Lodge NR with my trusty sweep net.
Sadly as with Iping common I didn't find much, the highlight being this Beautiful yellow underwing larva, which is very well camouflaged in the heather where it lives.

Grateful today for - a lovely walk in the sunshine
