Chimneys

Shuttleworth House, where the tower, visible from quite a distance, reflects the shapes of the chimneys.

I visited Shuttleworth in the hope that I could photograph more old aircraft; there were some out on the grass but the front gates were closed, with signs indicating that entry would be only by the drive to the House.

So I drove up that way only to find that I'd have to pay £15 to get in, I reckon.  I didn't ask, but it certainly looked that way.  So I turned round and grabbed this shot before exiting.  It's not unreasonable for the business to charge for entry, but I was there only for a quick shot as I had promised to do some housework at home.  Another time, perhaps . . .
