Steall Falls

Lazy start to the day before packing the rest of the camper to go away. Headed out around 11 to go over to Glen Nevis. Plan was to top on the way at the beach where Monarch of the Glen was filmed but all the laybys were full and there is no public road down to it, so we headed on to the campsite at the foot of Ben Nevis. Checked in and pitched the awning with some difficulty. When they say it’s a hard standing pitch they mean it. Decided on a short walk to go to the Steall Falls. J tried to get across the river to the base of the falls but the rock were too slippery and at bit too deep to cross with boots on. Had a few bits of rain on the way as well so came back to the campsite for an early night. Also discovered that I had forgotten to pack the tripod, Doh.
