Framed

This is the frame that goes with a painting by a woman trained at the Bauhaus who left Germany to settle in London in the interwar years. It is painted as part of the picture but has become increasingly fragile. So I glued it back together using my different vices - avarice, gluttony etc.

The extra is part of the onion crop - mainly delicious shallots- laid out to dry.

Despite the short lived rain yesterday I reckon we probably secured a tonne or two of water. That will hopefully see us through the heatwave arriving from the Sahara.
