A deliciously cool night. And an early rise. To plant out a slew of seeds for the second season’s crops. Dodgy to be sure given the heat coming. But, hey, nothing ventured... fennel, letttuce, radish, beetroot, chicory, chard, basil, parsley, pantarelle, rucola.

The grapes are coming on (extra). A self seeded vine that I’ve tended with careful pruning and support.

The garden never sleeps. Just as soon as you think you are there you are not.
