RAF Topcliffe

I am doing my Type Conversion on the EC145 at RAF Topcliffe which some of my buddies know well as it was used as a training base many many moons ago.

It's occupied by an Artillery regiment now, but still has the old tower and the hangars too from RAF days.

I wonder what stories they could tell!

I am enjoying getting back to small helicopter flying after 13 years over the North Sea. It requires a VERY different mentality!
