Foraging
We spent all afternoon combing the beach for oysters and herbs. By nightfall, we were huddled around the fire with those half-shells scattered around the forest floor and raccoons anxiously awaiting a dinner party invitation.
I intended to document Neowise's return (the comet) to the Earth's visible night sky but that beloved northwest cloud cover made that impossible. For this feat, I brought my Canon Rebel T6 and EF mount 70-200mm lens. It was more appropriate in the end for documenting the strolling lengths of the beach in its abundant detail.
