Bokeh
Bonnie and I watched her cat Sammy be born in this same garden where he lives, sleeps and nears the end of his life. Her grandmother's house too now nears the end of if its life as the family hones in on a potential buyer.
The digital eye tries to pay attention to too many things and I cannot stand the totality of how it captures reality. It also fails to comprehend the subtle subjects of photos, for instance, the warped distortions of aged glass. My Lomography Petzval lens helped enhance these qualities by filtering the natural bokeh effect (out of focus points of light) through a shape such as a star or tear-drop. The shots with a spikey quality to the focal blur were the star shape while the teardrop shots are quite obvious. A bit on the nose, at times.
This lens is completely manual so there is no metadata available.
