A little TLC required..

First day of the holidays and just a twelve minute drive to Croesor a small former mine workers village. Free car park unlike Snowdon where chaos reigns with people parking where they shouldn’t and fines issued. A walk up the valley towards Lyn Croesor provided much interest only three walkers and five runners encountered on the walk. A bit breezy and misty on top but interesting old slate quarry and lake to explore. This cottage cum barn caught my eye on the way up. Although the extra ran it close for today’s photo.

We came back to the cottage for lunch. I then took Jet out to explore the area nearby. Found a large static caravan site surrounded by some wonderful woods with walks and waterfalls all clearly way marked. Spotted an Osprey circling above unfortunately the nearby Osprey centre is closed. I thought it maybe busy In the site but saw only two people on the walk the rest were either elsewhere or sat in their caravans. Have plans to try a run on the way marked paths.
