extortion?

This toy is a kaleidoscope. There are some pictures that are just easier to take with a cell phone and this is an example. 

I channeled mambo and made up for my frustration at not accomplishing enough yesterday. 

I think I'm a victim of extortion. I put out birdseed. For a while now one of my guests has been a woodpecker. For a few months now I've been hearing a woodpecker early in the morning. I finally saw the woodpecker going at my neighbors' roofs. Last week I rushed out and it was going at mine.
"Hey! Wouldn't you rather have a nut?
Knock it off, have a nut, right here!"
Now the woodpecker gets me out of bed earlier than I want to be so I'll rush out and put out nuts and get it to stop attacking my roof. 

After paying the extortion nuts, I took Samuel for a walk. It was before other people were up so we got to enjoy a path we have never been on. When we walked back we saw a woman. I put on my mask. She put on her bandana. We walked by each other. I asked as I passed, "do you feel like a bandit?" She laughed and said, "yes I do."

Ok folks, off to another week. Who knows what wonders await? Lions playing ukelele? Squirrels sword fighting? Aliens landing?
