At Last

From a very late sowing, my first Sweet Peas are almost there.

The predicted rain and strong winds arrived this morning, a good morning for admin and indoor jobs.  I also fixed new hinges to reverse the opening of a kitchen cupboard and removed the filthy glass from the bathroom ceiling end of a light tunnel, replacing it with a sheet of multi-wall polycarbonate.  A huge improvement and much lighter in there now.  There's a couple of little finishing off jobs to do but pleased to have progressed both issues.  

The habit Meg has acquired of barking at other dogs on leads has become more of a problem with so many visitors and their dogs in town now.  Rescued from a farm, she had a different kind of puppyhood to dogs brought up in a home.   We are working on recall and on distraction techniques but it can be hard work at times.   All suggestions welcomed - we recognise that it's us, the owners who need training as much as the dog!
