Take off

WFH but I did manage to squeeze in some outside time today at least.
A rainy, grey day.
Every Saturday and Sunday since we realised we have no idea when we might be in the same country, never mind the same city together, K and I have had a video call at 7pm GMT.
As I waited for the call this evening, she announced she'd had an idea and would be late. It was an excellent surprise. She had driven herself to Ocean Beach and she called me from there so that we could enjoy one of our favourite thing to do together. 
I watched the ocean waves, K dipped her toes in the water, I saw pelicans,...it was all rather fantastic. Almost like being sat beside her on our beach blanket.
K has the best ideas.
