Cats and dogs

I had the day off work today but had managed to accept a meeting invitation for mid-afternoon so ended up having to get the laptop out. I'll take the time owed, informally, at the end of the week.
I am trying to make sure to get all my steps in each day and so I popped into the park. Almost immediately it started teeming down so I sheltered under the large willow tree.
It improved later so I had a walk around the nature reserve before deciding to see if S fancied checking out the local gay-friendly pub to see if it was safe enough for a pint.
Happilly it was, so we had two pints. It almost felt like normal times.
