Mill Dam on the Fithie Burn
A bright sunny day
A morning walk in the sunshine round a route I had done a number of times before but not for a month or so. Some of the paths had been overgrown to the extent they had disappeared, although there were alternative paths. The flowers, especially the Campion, were growing in abundance and also reaching quite a height. There were lots of Cabbage White and Red Admiral butterflies around, no doubt brought out by the sun.
Towards the end of the walk I passed this Mill Dam, which had much more water passing through since last time I was there.
The 2.6 miles of the walk took me over my target of 80 miles in July - now I am thinking there is still time to reach 90.
We had a good Prayer meeting in church last night, our first time since March. It was slightly strange with the social distancing and other safety precautions but certainly something we can cope with, for as long as is necessary. I al glad that Scotland is doing well in keeping the prevalence of the Virus very low but I do feel sorry for all the business people who fear the loss of their livelihood.
