Milngavie to Drymen WHW day 2

I had no idea there were pine marten within walking distance of Milngavie, see the extra blip today, which was taken in a wildlife garden part of the Beech Tree Inn. The main blip is Dumgoyne which is notable and visible for most of the way.
The first half was the more interesting with some spectacular views across to Loch Lomond and beyond and I have decided to return to Milngavie and properly explore the Mugdock country park and Craigallan Loch.
The bus at Drymen was exactly on time and I was back in Glasgow for around 4.30, and home in time for the Glasgow Heritage lecture on George Square. There was grass until around 1998 - I vaguely remember the fuss when it was removed with little or no consultation.
